I got this raid a few weeks ago and have a couple alts near level and 2 in the hundreds. I would like to see if there is any interest in running it as a kin. I'm thinking in about 2 or so weeks on a Saturday night around 8pm eastern. I'm just looking for interest at this time. If enough are interested, then we can schedule. I believe it's level 75 or higher, so anybody/class of any level able to do it is welcome. I want to face a dragon! Maybe even go t2.
I have the Isengard Expansion but think I have only done pre-req quests on 1 toon. I would be interested as I have never done this raid before.
For anyone interested in the requirements: You need to be at least level 75 to start the raid You need the Rise of Isengard expansion, or to buy the Raid: Draigoch's Lair at the LOTRO store. You need to have completed the quest chain starting with There is Gold in the Hills starting at Ariene at the gate in Galtrev closest to the trainer's hall before you are able to enter These three quests appear in your quest log under "Rise of Isengard" and are marked as "Raid Quests." -- Category:Draigoth Pre-requisite Quests
It sounds like it will be really fun, however, it will require a minimum of 6 people because that's required to break the floor. I'm not sure how powerful level 115 toons will be compared to Draigoch (so it may be easier than I think, but I'm guessing we will need a tank and a healer. Also, we'll probably want to perform the conjunctions. I think the best way to do this would be to have the fellowship leader set a manoeuvre, and have certain members assigned to go in order.
The tank will have to know what they're doing, and we should probably use a mic to call out which direction to run in. Also it would help if we had a couple of burgs coordinating when to start conjunction, because Draigoch will have immunity for 30 seconds between each one. Captains to rez while in battle wouldn't hurt either.
I don't really understand the head movement parts, or exactly where you're supposed to run when he's burning the tunnels. I suspect if he's burning the ones to the right, and you're already on his left, then you're save. I also suspect you wind up running to the lowest floor every time you run to the left.
There are two really cool housing item that drop that are very rare. If we got good at this raid, perhaps we could get them.
